NORDIC-RAINWEAR is a Danish webshop specializing in rainwear for work, sports and outdoor adventure. Our aim is to offer rainwear for every purpose, give you honest and useful information and guidens to the best solution for your needs. Rainwear is often designed for special purposes and weather conditions. We therefore make an effort to "dress you well", to make the right choice, and to work and enjoy life outdoors - regardless of the weather.

NORDIC-RAINWEAR has no in-house production, but has handpicked the best from a number of Nordic and European manufacturers who meet the quality requirements set by us and the environmental and safety requirements set by the EU and Danish authorities.

We are therefore independent - and regardless of whether you buy rainwear for 15 or 1,500 euros, our goal is to give you honest and useful information and the best solution that suits your needs.

Family-owned business

NORDIC-RAINWEAR is owned by the la Cour family, which is an ordinary active family. We are anglers, love sailing, have three Icelandic horses, two dogs and a large garden. A very large part of our lives therefore takes place outdoors - even when it rains.

However, the idea for a shop specializing in rainwear we got many years ago on a trip to Austria. It was in the spring, when the clouds hung low between the mountains, the rain poured down, and the meltwater caused the river and canals in the little town we lived in to overflow their banks. But that wasn't a problem, because the town had more than one well-stocked shop with lots of rain gear, wellies and umbrellas to choose from.

In Denmark we never have had the same type of stores. In terms of weather, Denmark is also well protected under shelter of the Norwegian-Swedish highland, so the need has not been there before.

But times have changed, and so has the weather, and even though we here in Denmark are not so affected by the weather, in 2013 we opened our first webshop specializing in rainwear.

With the name change to NORDIC-RAINWEAR, we are making the shop even better and expanding with a large number of new items.
